Program Management, Product Management, or Project Management (PM) Concepts

This course will teach you about key concepts you’ll need to understand in order to pass interviews for a PM role, even if you haven’t been a PM before. If you’re new to PM, we’ll help you pair this course with the other prep courses you’ll need, based on your skill level. We’ll fit PM to the type your company is looking for (Program, Product, or Project Manager), including TPM (Technical PM) roles.

As a result of this course, you’ll be able to walk and talk like a PM. Concepts we’ll cover include customer obsession, synthesizing customer and business needs, how PMs use experimentation and iteration, leading by influence, Agile methodologies, and more. Since this role is broad, and definitions vary widely, we’ll tailor to the type of PM you’re applying for & at the companies you’re most interested in.
